What is the true definition of treasures?
There are so many ways to define the word
A treasure can be found in the person you hold tight each night when you close your eyes
Or the baby you hold so close to your heart listening to their beating heart
A treasure can be a mother who knows all that you’re feeling and just how to please you
Or a dad who knows how to extend a helping hand
A sister who opens her heart and gives her time
In making sure that everyone finds their way home
In your children as they fulfill most of your hopes and dreams
With their smiles mixed within a giggle sometimes replaced by a frown
Or
The dance in their step each time you are near
See your treasure as you wish
