I didn’t ask the question

I didn’t expect the answer

I wasn’t prepared to have to help

My shoulder wasn’t ready

The bed wasn’t made

But my door is always open

My table always has an extra seat

There is no burden upon me

Only the desire to be the answer to someone else’s problem

Come sit at my table

Share my food

Enjoy the laughter

Ease your burden
