A cool day

Holding its wintry glow

Still cheerful despite its gray

The ground still frozen over

Crunching with each step

Begging for the warmth of the sun

Birds chirping flocked together hunting for food

A single swan swimming in the murky waters

Walkers walking, cyclist cycling despite the rain

Everyone happy to be free from the treacherous weather

Of a long winter

Preparing for more rainy days ahead

That are sure to bring abundant flower beads

The daylight stayed a slight bit longer

The evening sky was darker as a new moon spread above us

Thoughts settling for the end of the night

Making us wishful and thankful for all that lays ahead

Welcome Springtime
