Meditation in the designated spot in my bedroom or living room equipped with lambent light from my salt lamp, the appropriately scented candle and a Buddha is home several times a day to my 10 minute slots of freedom. Released from every bit of stress, pressure and anxiety I might be trying to push through at the time. I find the right focal point and I’m whisked away to another place where only those 10 minutes matter. When it’s over, there’s a lightness that comes over me. My breathing has slowed, my muscles loosen, and the pressure at the sides of my head are no longer quickly pulsating. Who wouldn’t become obsessed knowing the potential benefits?
