I am who I am and I’m proud of it

I may choose to change

I may choose to stay the same

No one has the power to change me

No one has the power to decide for me

I am proud to have a choice

I will always stand with honor

There is no shame in who I am

While you bash me

I feel solace in knowing you must be in pain

To place so much attention

With no affection

For your obsession

Of one for which you

know no name

Simply your ideal

For which you hold claim

But just the same

You will have no choice in

My matters of heart

So carry on and find another

For this one has your number

And it’s no good here
