Living life as we turn back time
The sounds of yesterday ring loudly in our ears
Carefree wild hairdo test our limits
Short skirts and long boots
Even retro furniture is becoming the new old look
All we need now is to twist and shout
To rock hopping, heart stopping music
To pass our time away
Wishing you could come back to stay
Old movies
Old cars
Another chance to look up at the stars
Everyone saying they kept delaying
Life every time it passed them by
Now given a chance to look back
Lift your glass and give a toast
To all those things and people who helped you get there and back
I'm a wife, a mother, a writer, and a friend. I enjoy sharing feelings, experiences and my poetry. There are many things that I am good at, but I'm sure there are just as many things that I am bad at. I try hard not to judge for we know no one is perfect. I can however say that although I have a great deal of patience, sometimes the patience tank runs dry. If you value me, I will always value you.
