What A Stormy Night Brings

One stormy night on the highest hill in site

I saw a star so bright

I made a wish with my eyes closed so tight

You’d never guess what came into my sight

You with your eyes so bright

Your heart so full of promise and joy

You so brightly bounced right into my life

Without reason

There’s no denying

That I can’t live without this feeling

Of everything that you bring to me

You have brought me to a place from which there is no returning

Never a feeling or wanting to leave

Content like a baby held in the arms of its mother

One in the same that you feel as you accept a hand in marriage

There is no turning back from this once stormy night

From which I met you

You are my treasure

My pot of gold at the end of each rainbow
