The wind whistles through the cracks of each window singing its very own song
The rain drops race toward the end of each window pane,
Leaving behind their wet skid marks
The sky so dark with clouds that move as quickly as we do,
Racing to reach their destination
We await the clearing to a blue sky
To clear our moods, which normally come with the darkness of rain?
We quickly search for a reason to smile again
Is the thought of the sun beaming through the skies enough to brighten our day?
I hope so, as long as we add a clear blue sky
So clear that we can see the tops of the mountains oh so far away
