There is nothing like the pressure of a friends words; of temptation
Telling you what to do to fit in
Or the feelings you have about wanting to have a baby
So you can feel as though someone loves you
The only problem is, you are only 15
Feeling all alone makes you look elsewhere for comfort
Or an ending that may be too final
Stop, look around and listen real closely
To all that is already here
There is love in your family and friends
Reach out and grab it
Open your eyes to the pain felt by those who made the wrong choices
Bringing children into the world with no money to ease them
or the pain of a family who lost a loved one who could no longer bare their pain
Look to see how open and free the future can be
But first realize for every bit of freedom comes some measure of responsibility
Life wasn’t meant to be easy, but can be as happy as you want it to be
Good things come if you are willing to wait for them
