From the moment we take our first breath

We begin creating memories

Some that we nicely frame and place perfectly on a wall

We place others neatly in albums that we pass from generation to generation

Unknowingly capturing our future

While cementing our past

With family and friends

Experiencing happiness as well as sadness

But holding on to

All that makes us the happiest that we can hope to be

Knowing that only we control our destiny
