I see hope

After the turmoil has settled

The silver lining becomes visible

All that I know is that help is needed

My hand is out

I’m offering it to those in need

Will they take it

I’m not sure

I was always told

That when someone asks for help

You give it

You give it freely and without regret

There will be a time when all good deeds

Will come back to you

In the sea of my mind

I see hope

I see people coming together

In time of need

Working towards a common goal

Aiding those in trouble

The innocent will be saved

For everyone willingly lent a helping hand
