There is a dream world I’d just soon forget
It’s dark and it’s empty, and lonely as can be
There are creatures lurking behind each corner
Ready to prance on little old me
I didn’t ask to come here so why are they after me
I frantically find myself searching for a quick exit out of here
Surely forgetting that all I have to do is wake up
Then of course they’ll disappear
And I’ll be happily laying in my comfy old bed
Hoping not to return to that old dream world I’d just soon forget
In that small corner of my darkest dreams
