I would like to take a moment to thank the citizens of Boston and all others who came out to support our message of peace and non violence.
Yesterday people came from near and far to stand up for what they believe in. Even though not everyone is on the same side the majority was for peace and for treating everyone equally. Everyone made their presence known. They stood up for what they believed in. Some got arrested, but most just stood their ground. The point was made that Boston welcomes everyone. If you don’t like that, you can find somewhere else to spread your message. Hate has no place here.
In the words of the Beetles: “Come together, right now”.
I'm a wife, a mother, a writer, and a friend. I enjoy sharing feelings, experiences and my poetry. There are many things that I am good at, but I'm sure there are just as many things that I am bad at. I try hard not to judge for we know no one is perfect. I can however say that although I have a great deal of patience, sometimes the patience tank runs dry. If you value me, I will always value you.
