Our Life Apart

When tomorrow comes

I’ll still be here

You’ll be free

We can both start a new

Our life together will be ended

You had to be with her

I told you she would hurt you

You didn’t want to listen

Now you’re all alone

I’m now hopeful for the future

That I will find a new love

Who will know that I can be all he needs me to be

Hope that you will learn my friend

That there is more to life and love

Than feeling good when you need to

Life teaches you how to be

Who and what you need to

Know that

Practice always makes perfect

I wish you all the best my love

Too bad you couldn’t find it with me

I now look forward to…
