What brings you peace?
Joy overflows within my chest when…
The soul finds light, and burdens rest, then…
Moments bloom like petals wide—
In love, in peace, I’m satisfied.
In circles of kin and kindred embrace,
We gather in silence, in laughter, in grace.
No banners are needed, no trumpets or show—
Just hearts drawn together, letting love flow.
With ink on my fingers, a thought takes its flight,
Sketching the soft edges of shadow and light.
A hush wrapped in stories, a shimmer, a gleam—
A notebook of wonder, a midnight dream.
I stir with intention, I season with soul,
Each dish a creation, each flavor a goal.
No guide in the kitchen, just instinct and flame,
As cinnamon whispers call out my name.
A hand gently resting, a look that can hear,
A beacon for someone when paths disappear.
No need for grand gestures, no fanfare or fame—
Just holding the space when life’s hard to name.
I sit in the stillness, I breathe in the air,
I anchor in presence, I soften the care.
With eyes turned inward, the world fades away—
Each breath a reminder to stay, just stay.
I offer my hours, my hands, and my heart,
In service that’s quiet, in love that won’t part.
No medals for giving, no spotlighted stage—
Just kindness that writes on time’s fleeting page.
This is my joy—not thunder, but rain,
Not riches or titles, not fortune or gain.
But living with purpose, in calm or in storm—
In the beauty of simple, in the depth of the warm.
