You may not have chosen me, and I may not have chosen you, in the end we found ourselves together like two peas in a pod. Our differences make us stronger. Listening to what the other says has meaning and seems to keep us grounded. Whether we stay or go our hearts do not and will not forget the other.

I should write you a proper note on paper; email seems too easy to say: THANK YOU for sharing your heartfelt memories and reflections about friends and neighbors. Wow. Your words were so well chosen and “from the heart” and clearly people took them into their hearts.

When I think of you, Felina, I think of “service” to those friends and neighbors, too, which you have exemplify so well.

I was a bit embarrassed to be pointed out by you (and others) but it was a joy to know The Children’s Book Shop is remembered so fondly. It made my heart sing.

Be well. Continue to fly the flag for neighborliness—and certainly for family, in all senses of the word!

Rusty, I appreciate whichever way you choose to communicate with me. This is Fine and I’m sorry if I embarrass you, but you should know just how much you and your store meant to me and everyone else again it’s important for our community know just how much they are a part of the success of our Town and you still continue to be an important member of the community. Thank you for being a part of my life and the life of my children.
