The Price of a Lie

If I Lie, which is something I strive not to do, in the end I would own up to it without much time passing. For if not, the lie would consume me. Eating away slowly at all that I am. First to go, would be my feeling of security. When you lie, there’s a constant feeling that someone is either watching or following you. You can’t eat or sleep. Your skin itches and your bones ache. Your heart beats faster than you can handle. All of this is the price you pay for a lie.
