Time is of the essence
We must move fast
For we may go without knowing our past or our future
Move on quickly
Forward ahead I say
Quickly we must, our time is now upon us
Where are we going?
Most of us don’t know
Dare we stop to think
Someone may pass us
That’s truly our fear
For they might just catch us
Then we must prove why we’re better
Everything is ever so competitive
Still we forge quickly ahead
Well I’ve decided to take my time
To slow down and think of me
To do all I’ve put off
So let them pass me if they think they can
I’ll arrive in my own time
In my own fashion
