I don’t want memories that make me cry. I don’t want a past that makes me ashamed of where I’ve been and what I’ve done. I don’t want history to paint me as a racist or one that doesn’t care for those who are different. I don’t want mother nature to think that I don’t respect all that she his given me and those I care for. I won’t let the violence that has ravished our country to consume all that’s good. I won’t live in a world that has no meaning. But I will make sure that everyone has a chance to do what’s right. It’s time to fix all that’s broken in the world, together.
I'm a wife, a mother, a writer, and a friend. I enjoy sharing feelings, experiences and my poetry. There are many things that I am good at, but I'm sure there are just as many things that I am bad at. I try hard not to judge for we know no one is perfect. I can however say that although I have a great deal of patience, sometimes the patience tank runs dry. If you value me, I will always value you.
