Today at about 10:12 am I was texting with one of my older daughters. Then suddenly without reason my tea which I had purchased earlier from Starbucks, just fell to the floor saturating everything in its path. I stopped the conversation without letting my daughter know what occurred and proceeded to mop up the floor. Once I finished, I continued the text as if nothing had happened. At about 10:55 my older of my twin daughters texted me during a class break, slightly shaken up. She told me that around 10:12 am she had gone to the storage refrigerator for her cooking class and for some reason the refrigerator door fell on her scratching up the back of her leg. She said that it was pretty scary. I couldn’t believe that I knew something was wrong but in the moment couldn’t place it. But as soon as I saw my daughter’s name appear on my phone, I knew that something had happened with her. I just thank my lucky stars that she was ok outside of the long scratch down her arm. Believe it or not, stranger things have happened to me on the regular. These such incidences confirm in my eyes the connections we have to our loved ones. Are you a believer?
