I choose life over death
I will reap what I sow
As long as you forgive me
I trust I can move on
My soul is beginning to be forgiven by my followers
Will they wonder who and where I’ve been
If they knew the pain I’ve encountered in my flawed but unseen past
I wonder if they would worship me when all of
My imperfections come to life
But only in my mirror at night
In my waking hours I think only of the things that need reparation
Tell me not of what I’ve done
But of what I must now do
The road we’re on is the road less traveled
It may be lonely but there is more to see
Do you forgiveth me?©
