Redemption

Happiness is what we all strive for,

Peace is what we hope for,

Forgiveness is what we ask for

Time is what we have.

When our thoughts turn to family

Our heart takes pause to reflect upon cause.

What caused us to be here feeling so blue?

Separated from the ones we love,

We’re saddened when the answer finally comes.

We look back over time wishing things had been different

We realize what we must now leave behind.

It’s time to move forward for time’s running out.

Love is what we’re after,

Redemption is at hand.
