The rain I feel upon my face
Takes me to a happier place

I find myself remembering when we stood beneath the waterfall

Laughing until our stomachs hurt

Mezzmerized by the delight of the sun’s natural glare

No wonder why we could only stare with no strength to pull away

For just a while we dared to live on the edge of time

Thanks to the rain for recalling a happier time
