When I laugh

My toes curl

My cheeks stretch

And if I laugh hard enough

My cheeks hurt

My stomach shakes and tightens as my laughter increases

My heart races as excitement grows

My body overheats

Discomfort becomes comfort

I wouldn’t change a thing

As laughter seems to be the medicine for all that ails me

Laughter is now what’s best for me
