I stand here alone in the dead of night

Listening to the echoes bouncing off the walls

Wondering how I got to this place

Everyone has gone and left me

Left me alone to deal with my thoughts,

So I can heal,

Space given is a time to live

We see what life has been and what it could be

Space allows us to let go of the past

And prepare for the future

My eyes are now wide open

So wide to I can see what might be

I praise him above for giving me this second chance

The chance to look ahead at what life was meant to be

A new direction with endless opportunities

I can now focus on choosing what’s right for me

Remembering that opportunities are only a small part of the bigger plan that lies ahead

We must take heart in what we think, what we say, and what we do

Take the time to see, and feel all that we are

This is a time of reflection and redemption
