I sit amongst all those whom I love and who love me

But yet I still feel an overwhelming sense of loneliness

There is a darkness that hovers over me

Even as the sun shines brightly over head

I’m desperate to climb out of the hole i’m submerged in

But there seems to be no way out

I trip over my words as I try feverishly to make sense of it all

Desiring only to feel whole again

Life is but a hands reach away

And I will do everything in my power to get it all back

Taking hold of the love I know is there

I’m on the rebound from the nightmare known as my life
