My Poem of the Day

Trembling in fear

I stand here alone

And

Broken hearted

Tears streaming down my face

My body limp

And

The feeling of dying overcomes me

Tortured by your

Cruelty

Your infidelity is

Shocking

And

Truly

Unforgivable

I’ve given you every part of me

But you’ve taken even more

Now

I can only find comfort in crying

While

Trying to nurse my broken heart

You’ve left me empty

And

Wondering

If

I’ll ever love again

But first

I’ll have to learn

To

Trust

In my heart
