Doctors order me to stay in bed

They warn me that I’m clear out of my head

The flu I carry has me in a deep haze

But I refuse to stay flat on my bed

So I stroll the streets

In a haze of sickness

I have no intentions of letting it stop me

Everyone moves so quickly

I hear each click and clack of their steps

Each building towers high over head

All is such a beautiful blur

I almost wish

I would be swallowed up

And whisked away

Till the end of my hazy daze
