But as different as night and day

You like pink

I like purple

You like gold

I like silver

You love money

I could live off the good of the land

No matter our differences

Our hearts are just the same

Whether together or apart

Our hearts are always longing for the other

Our pain is as great as the others

Although we appear somewhat different to others

We know we are really more of the same

While still being as different as night and day
