What are you grateful for today?

Today I am grateful
to be surrounded by my children⋆⭒˚𖠋𖠋𖠋*.⋆
their voices braiding the air,
their laughter a shelter
I didn’t know I was building all along.

Grateful for health,
for the quiet miracle of waking whole,
for a community that holds me
when I am strong
and when I am not.

Grateful for every moment with my dad「 ✦ papa ✦ 」
for time still warm in my hands,
for words said and unsaid,
for love that deepens
because it knows it is not endless.

And I am grateful for memory,
for those I have lost
who have not truly left.𖥔 ݁ ˖
they live in stories,
in habits of the heart,
in the way gratitude arrives
already carrying their names.

Today, I give thanks
for what is here,
for what has been,
and for the love that remains,
asking nothing more
than to be felt.
