What principles define how you live?
I live by five stars in the sky,
Each one a truth that helps me fly.
With honesty, my heart’s in tune,
Like the glowing, honest moon.
Communication, clear and bright,
Like birds who sing at morning light.
Each word a note, each voice a song,
Together we all hum along.
Loyalty, like roots that grow,
Through winds that whip and waters flow.
A sturdy bond, unshaken, true,
A friend in need will see me through.
Advocacy, with arms outspread,
For those who’ve lost the words they’ve said.
I raise their voices, proud and clear,
A cheer for justice far and near.
And helping others, kind and free,
Like a gentle wave upon the sea.
A ripple small, but far it goes,
In every heart, it softly flows.
With love, I build, with love, I share,
A tender touch, a soul laid bare.
In every smile, a light I send,
A hand to hold, a heart to mend.
These principles, they guide my way,
Through every night and every day.
