Starlight Birthday Waltz (for my mother)©️ by Felina Silver (copyright 2025)

In the quiet of dawn, I feel you near,Dancing through starlight, whispering clear. The sky seems brighter, the clouds all sing—For today the heavens wear birthday wings. You sprinkle moon-dust on dreams I keep,Tuck courage inside when the night grows deep.Your laughter flits like a firefly’s glow,Chasing the shadows I used to know. I picture you…

In the quiet of dawn, I feel you near,
Dancing through starlight, whispering clear.
The sky seems brighter, the clouds all sing—
For today the heavens wear birthday wings.

You sprinkle moon-dust on dreams I keep,
Tuck courage inside when the night grows deep.
Your laughter flits like a firefly’s glow,
Chasing the shadows I used to know.

I picture you twirling in gardens above,
Planting the world with seeds of love.
The stars clap softly, the wind hums along—
The universe hums your favorite song.

So I’ll light a candle and make a wish true:
That the joy you gave still flows like dew.
Though earth feels empty, my heart feels wide—
For you are the magic on every tide.

Happy birthday, my moonlit guide,
Forever my mother, forever my pride.
