What does your ideal home look like?

I dream a dwelling, vast as love itself—
a family compound woven from my longing.
Here, I walk hand in hand with my beloved,
our own hearth glowing,
while six paths branch outward like roots,
each child cradled in their sacred space.

My daughter, tender soul of many storms,
rests within her own sanctuary—
a place where gentle companions live beside her,
and careful hands tend to every need
as though tending to a rare, eternal flame.

Each chamber opens wide enough for laughter,
for the voices of grandchildren
to echo like silver bells against stone.
They run through hallways carved of safety,
where no shadow of danger may reach them,
for our home breathes beneath the earth,
a sanctuary hidden from tempests and wandering eyes.

Above, the surface bears a quiet disguise—
simple, unadorned,
a face that draws no harm nor hunger.
But within,
the walls glow like constellations,
every corridor pulsing with warmth,
every doorway a promise:
You belong. You are safe. You are home.

And so, my ideal house is not just built—
it is dreamed into being,
a fortress of love wrapped in stone and song,
a hidden star that never burns out.
