Why do you blog?
I blog to remember who I am—
a whisper threaded through the weave
of thought and silence,
ink and dream.
Each word a bead on spirit’s string,
gathered not to please the crowd,
but to steady the storm within,
to speak aloud what stirs beneath.
I write because the act reclaims me—
pulls the scattered stars of self
into constellations only I can name.
The page becomes a temple,
not to worship at, but to breathe in.
I know some pass,
seeking answers that don’t wear my voice.
Let them wander—
the right truth wears many tongues.
I am not here to convince,
only to unveil.
This is my meadow of thought,
my shadowed forest,
my wind-carved ridge.
Here, I say what must be said
in the place I choose to say it.
Let them comment.
Let them echo or resist.
Their words may ripple through my branches,
but I choose what leaves I keep.
I blog for the rhythm it gives me,
for the sacred hush between the lines,
for the sense of purpose rising
each time I let the soul speak plain.
So I write—
not for applause,
not for echo,
but to burn a small light
in the world’s vast dark
and call it mine.
