What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?
Each day I drift to silence, once—or many times again,
A ritual not of duty, but of soft, unspoken gain.
When storms arise or peace prevails, the calling feels the same—
A hush that holds me gently in a world I cannot name.
I lock the door; the world stays out,
The noise, the rush, the creeping doubt.
A candle flickers—time slows down,
The chaos fades without a sound.
Soft music flows like whispered streams,
And I return to inner dreams.
No voice intrudes, no need to flee,
This space I’ve made belongs to me.
No hand can reach, no thought can steal
The quiet truths I come to feel.
This calm is mine—no stage, no show,
Just breath and stillness, ebb and flow.
And if you haven’t tried this grace,
This gentle pause, this sacred place,
Then let your restless hours be
An open door to what could be.
Begin with breath. Release. Begin.
And meet the peace that waits within.
