Photo by Skeem125 lost dreams and desires
I am the keeper of my flame,
The only soul I truly tame.
These dreams I chase, this fire I feed,
Are mine alone — my wants, my need.
No heart but mine must bear their weight,
No hand but mine shall shape my fate.
Each fleeting tick, each breath, each sigh,
A moment lost, a chance gone by.
The clock winds down, it will not wait —
I must decide, create, be great.
No chains of doubt shall keep me still,
No fears shall bind my forward will.
For if I stumble, if I stall,
The mirror knows who caused the fall.
So here I stand — both spark and flame —
Consumed by dreams I dare to name.
