Silence is the breath the earth takes slow,
a gentle pause where moments grow.
No ticking clocks, no racing tide,
just peace with nowhere else to hide.
Alone or close, it softly gleams,
a quiet gold beneath our dreams.
It asks for nothing, gives us space—
a calm, wide-open resting place.
But even light must share the sky,
and silence, too, can drift too high.
So we return, with voice and song—
renewed by stillness, not held too long.
