Describe your life in an alternate universe.

In a twinkling-tossed universe stitched from stardust and maybe,

I still have my six shining wonders—

Each child dancing on their own little patch of paradise,

Homes nestled like pearls on a lush green quilt,

With partners, giggling babes, and merry misfit friends in tow.

I, a potion-brewing scientist of the softest kind,

Tinker with moonlit herbs and whispering roots,

Curing coughs, heartbreaks, and the sniffles of the soul.

By my side, my ever-doting husband,

Heart as steady as the North Star, hands always warm.

Together, we bottle up hope and hand it to the world.

Gone are the lines that once split us like cracked glass—

We speak in the language of respect now, all of us, everywhere.

Trees are thanked, rivers hugged, skies sung to.

No one sleeps cold, no one goes hungry,

Because we’ve all learned the old magic of “enough.”

And when someone grows weary of their skin-suit and bones,

They don’t die—oh no! They simply choose—

To flutter into a new form: a fox, a flame, a beam of song.

Death is but a wardrobe change in this whimsical waltz of life.

Yes, in that somewhere-else, a tick to the left of time,

This is how we live—rooted in joy, wrapped in wonder,

A family of stars, a world that remembers how to shine.
