What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

For their twelfth, we stepped into a world of dolls and dreams —
The American Girl Store, where magic beams.
Each twin brought a friend, their little sister too,
With a buddy beside each of them, laughter bloomed and flew.
My husband then and I played our part,
As joy spilled over each tiny heart.
The price? A steep $675 toll —
But in their smiles, I found my soul.
I swore, “Never again,” and kept that vow,
Yet every cent was gold somehow.

Blessed Sunday Morning Felina, CONGRATULATIONS ON BECOMING AN AUTHOR!

Thank you for your posting of deep passionate poetry! I have gained so much reading your poetry; it’s a blessing to my soul that you write from your heart of places and loved ones. I love to write poetry and read it to various community groups including the church and the Italian Home for Children. I also enjoy and love playing my tambourine at various events, spaces and venues. I often play on the streets of Boston including the Seaport. I published my first book of poetry, “Fourth Realm” in 2006. I am self-published and has published with groups on diverse individuals while working from home during COVID. My second book, “Make It Matter” was published 2021; both books can be purchased at Frugal Book Store, Nubian Square, Roxbury, MA 02119.

Would like to know who your publisher since you are recent published. I am enjoying your poetry; it’s very different from any poetry I have read. It’s refreshing and amazing! Keep on being real; it’s beautiful and authentic.

Hi Maddie, thank you so much for all of your kind words and your appreciation of my work. The majority of my work is self-published on my blog. There are some early pieces that were published in various books and anthologies. I’ve wanted publish a collection of my poetry. I still hope to publish a book or two of my poems as a self-published book. I struggle, however, with how to compile it as I have written so many poems. If you have any ideas, I would love to talk to you outside of this platform, you can reach me directly by email at poetsareangels1963@gmail.com.

congratulations on publishing your books .
