You need not tell me that you care—
I’ve long believed that deeds, not words,
Are truer messengers of love.
If you must prove your heart again and again,
What weight, then, does this “love” you speak of carry?
Love, when real, flows freely—
Unforced, unchained, a river seeking its sea.

But commitment—ah, that’s a different vow.
It is a choice made in the quiet,
Then honored in the noise of everyday.
Each morning, each moment,
Another line written in the tale we share.

So I ask:
Are you ready to grow old beside me,
To weather storms and bask in light?
Will you unveil your whole heart—
Even the hidden corners, the shadows, the softest scars?

I am here, an open book,
Pages marked with joys and wounds,
Each one a stone upon the path we walk.
All I ask is this:
Give as I give—
Wholly, honestly, without turning back.
For love eternal is not a solo journey.
It takes two souls, hand in hand,
To walk into forever.
