On what subject(s) are you an authority?

At first, I felt frustrated—frustrated by all the responsibilities I carried, the tasks I handled, and the things I had to put aside because other priorities took precedence. But over time, I’ve come to see the value in being versatile. I may not have one specific talent that defines me, but I’m capable in so many areas—and I’ve learned that what matters to me may not matter to everyone else, and that’s okay.

I take pride in being a woman who can fix a toilet when needed, unclog a drain, build a bookshelf, or assemble furniture—often without instructions, especially when they aren’t even in English. I can cook most meals from scratch without needing a recipe and bake with my own twist, because I believe there’s no such thing as a “perfect” recipe.

I’m someone who can offer counsel to others, even if I don’t always take my own advice. I’m resourceful—I can hunt for the best deals, be a listener when no one else wants to be, and keep a secret that others feel compelled to share. I can lead those that need to be led, I have a strong will, a green thumb, and the kind of loyalty that makes me a true friend. And when it comes to storytelling, I can hold my own like a seasoned pro.

Motivated to explore and achieve more, I use my voice to support what matters most.
