What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?
Whenever the stress of life gets in the way, I have to take a break. My bedroom, living room, and kitchen each have a spot where a Buddha, crystals , and other relics sit so I can take time to meditate escaping from life’s daily stress. In those moments I find such peace, acceptance, and reflection. I am at once ignited with the power to move forward with the task of the day.
While meditation gives me strength to return to the many tasks of the day adding a walk gives me the space to work everything out in my head. Prioritizing all that must be done.
Walking also gives me a chance to bump into friends and neighbors that I may not have seen otherwise. Those conversations and moments also give me pause and a level of peace that makes me feel empowered to do my best.
How great it is to feel empowered!
