You are the land that I live and breathe. You give me the strength and desire to chase who I am. I stand proud to be your descendant. Please guide me on my next steps. I walk a mile in your shoes. I share a past unknown to me but now known to those after me. No moment in time can replace what others stole. So now we make the time to teach others about your losses. With gratitude, I hang onto a past that must be forgiveness. If not, the future is grim. We must deliver the past to those with the heart to fight for its acceptance to feed future generations.
