Yesterday my eyes were closed

But I see you clearly now

Full of hate and rage for those who’ve done nothing but show they’re different than you

Your wealth and privilege leaves you ignorant to the sacrifice and pain known to those unlike you

Friends aren’t something you have many of

Your dinner table is filled with adversaries with their hands out

It must be ever so lonely at the top of the very bottom
