Still waters pull me in

They take away my sins

I tread water flat on my back

Looking up at a forgiving sky

The beauty of my receivers eyes

Secretly forgiving my every lie

I tread slowly to take everything in

Wishing to be reborn again

I beg for mercy as I sink deeper in

The still waters they take me in

And wrap me tightly

There’s no more escaping

Now I’m back to where it all began

Living a life free of sin

Thank you still waters for taking me in
