The Illusion Called Life©

Life is made up of a handful of pockets

One for hope we share with loved ones

One for the truth we hope people are strong enough to tell

One for the lies we know we have to keep but often have to shedd

One for the past we work hard to change

and One for the future we try endlessly to shape

So we mix

One lie to cover the truth that was never meant for your ears

We shed tears upon the hope that was meant for all those who lost their loved ones, then

Reflect upon the dreams meant for those who close their eyes hoping for more on the other side of tomorrow

Then once all is said and done, all we can do is pray for the strength to get through it all
