I need not follow in the steps of another. My own path has an acceptable destination. I choose to believe what I see, trust what I know, and absorb what I learn. I am full of knowledge but am open to receiving more as long as it is deemed worthy of my attention. You may wish to direct me, I can’t promise I’ll follow. I can however promise loyalty to those who earn my trust. I won’t allow myself to be indebted to another for no one can be certain of their ability to return favor to another. I am now asserting my independence, please don’t try to hold me back!
