This is what I see…Felina Silver Robinson

Doctors order me to stay in bed. They warn me that I’m clear out of my head. The flu I carry has me in a deep haze, but I refuse to stay flat on my bed, so I stroll the streets in a haze of sickness. I have no intentions of letting it stop me. Everyone moves so quickly. I hear each click and clack of their steps. Each building towers high over head. All is such a beautiful blur. I almost wish I would be swallowed up and whisked away until the end of my hazy daze.
