Through good times and bad

We offer a prayer to hold onto what we know and who we love

To give us strength when we need it

We pray for forgiveness and hope for acceptance

We pray that someone is listening and will answer our prayers

The prayers that are answered are those that were easily attainable

Those left unanswered were not forgotten

The outcome has its reason and were thus left

In the hands of a greater power

With the lingering rememberance

That “all things come to those who wait” as said by none other than Violet Fane in 1892
