Picture Day©

Standing at my closet door
Wondering what I should wear
For a few moments in time
All eyes will be on me
It’s Picture Day
Something bright
Something plain
Something pretty
Or maybe I should surprise them
And wear something wild and funky
I’ve been standing here close to an hour
At this point I’m closing my eyes and where my hand stops
It will be the pick of the day
Smile pretty and bat your eyes for the camera
